How do I get rid of acne scars?

I used to have really bad acne and no that I've gotten rid of it I'm stuck with the ugly scars. Sitting out in the sun gets rid of them for about a couple weeks then they start to reappear. How can I perminantly get rid of them without getting some sort of surgery?How do I get rid of acne scars?

I have the same problem but I have found that Bio oil works amazingly! The results are not immediate but scars start to fade after around a month and after applying twice daily for around three months results really appear (or fade in the scars case!) and scars are barely noticeable.


Bio oil is a registered brand in the uk and should be available at your local beauty store, pharmacy, drugstore. Its also available on the internet and isn't too expensive either for how good it is!!


Its amazing - fades scars all over the body too!!

look into microdermabrasion. seek a local day spa that offers it and talk to a professional there who can give you a skin analysis.
sun is a pretty good cure, but you might need to actually get the oral acne stuff i think it's called acutane. The only thing is that it's said to increase depression in some people and there's a lot of things that you shouldn't drink when you're on it. But i've seen that stuff work wonders on my friends. Also someone told me that while in the shower turn ur back facing the water for majority of the shower, and that actually helped my back clear up a lot
