How can I get rid of adult acne? I have tried everything from proactiv ,murad and even accutane?

I am now in my 30'S , nothing has worked, I wasted money on dermatologists proactiv ,murad and accutane ... Help!!How can I get rid of adult acne? I have tried everything from proactiv ,murad and even accutane?
This acne could be a symptom of a hormone imbalance such as one called Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (an example only).

The only way to know for sure is to consult your doctor to see what they say and an endocrinologist (a doctor that diagnoses and treats diseases and disorders that relate to hormones such as Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) may also be of help in trying to figure out what could be going on.How can I get rid of adult acne? Don't do anything else anymore except Cosmedicine! Not even Dermologica like I said before...this stuff is way better! get at sephora! Report Abuse

i just told someone else, i went to a derm that started me on a medibac regime of stuff from Dermologica. i did have to give it some time but it has really helped me with my oiliness and acne, i get cystic acne esp. around my chin and it keeps it low as much as possible.

hopefully this helps!!!
rubbing alcohol will dry out your skin, causing the underlying layer to overproduce oil and create more zits. I don't know how bad your acne is, but I've found that daily mild exfoliation had worked for me and my sister. My sister just uses Clinique soap with Clinique's soft face brush. It feels so nice, but it's gently taking off all the dead skin and exposing new fresh skin without causing sores. Don't press hard, it's not necessary. My skin isn't as bad, and I use those facial sponges. It's heavier exfoliation, but my skin doesn't have breakouts, per se, so I don't have to worry about the pimples getting ripped to shreds. It help with the clogged pores and to help give you a smoother, softer look and feel to your skin.
I used to have bad acne....for years over the past few months i've been washing with a soap called cidal soap once in the morning and once at night and its cleared mine up great. I Too paid out lot sof money for all the brand names and acne treatments n sought my treatment in a bar of 99p soap!!
Look at your diet. If you eat a lot of over processed foods or fried foods this can be bad for your skin. Also check to make sure you're getting all the nutrients and vitamins you need. For on the spot treatment there is this product called a blemish touch stick put out by desert essentials. It works really well and is all natural/vegan. It works to clean out the skin and doesn't dry it out. And try to wash your face before you go to sleep and in the morning with a light exfoliating cleanser to remove dead skin right after you wash your skin is the right time to use the blemish stick.
idk what u should do, but i went to a dermatologist and it work for me maybe u should try again and go to another one or your local doctor.
Rubbing alcohol: NO, NO, NO! Before you eat anthing in the morning, drink 100% juice, then eat some veges to aid max digestion. You'll be fine in a week.
rubbing achol
When you wash your face, use sugar to scrub it, at least once a day, for two weeks to rid yourself of acne. Check out http://useinfo-acne.blogspot.com/ for more useful info.
