it has to be plain white toothPASTE NO GEL, put a good dollop on the zit, sleep with it on and thenwhen you wake up it should be dried out, wash your face well though cuz you dont want to go out with toothpaste on your face ;-)
some friends and i used to do this in middle school. had to be the white paste, not sure why but it did seem to work. i dont know if there are medical studies for it or if it was jus three dump kids makin themselves think it worked. we jus took a lil dot, big enough to cover the pimple. let it dry then head to bed. next mornin wash it off if it were still there then tadaaah! it was gone. but rly if you gonna have pimples youre gonna have them. sucks but good luck~!
It it only helps take out the redness sometimes. But its not very effective. Get yourself some Clean %26amp; Clear acne spot treatment. It's clear so you can't see it and can use it whenever.
It has to be the pure white kind, you know... the old fashioned paste, not gel. It has never worked for me though.
I think it works by drying out the area. In that case, I'd think you'd want a pretty good daub on there so it can pull out as much as possible.

Yes, put a dollop, of regular plain old white toothpaste on it. It will dry out the infection. Just don't pick or the skin will be broken and the toothpaste will sting! It won't just disappear though, it will take a couple of days for some bad ones..
actually, you are correct...unfortunately, this will be a tried and true method...you need to try varying amounts to see what is effective for you...use the good old regular white crest or Colgate...not the gels or flavoured ones...
