Is there a way to get rid of bumps before they turn to red acne?

sometimes i see my face has bumps that i know are going to be bimishes/acnes. I put the acne mediation on to dry them up, but they never work until it actually get bigger and red.

personally i just use soap and warm/hot water...seriously! people don't believe me though...no prescription is needed. but if it's pretty bad, after i've washed my face with soap and water, i use this thing called ';Eskinol'; which is basically like rubbing alcohol, then i put toothpaste on it( like what Hannah P said).


the bumps appear when you've neglected to wash your face. the oil and dirt(not really visible) on your face clogs up your pores, making your skin irritated and become red bumps...just always wash your face in the morning and at night...=]

MINT JULEP QUEEN HELENE MASK from sally beauty supply and walmart. i use it as a spot treatment on bumps overnight and in the morning they have half the size. its 3 dollars and its green, haha. i use it as a mask once a month and when you wash it off you don't have blackheads either. i swear, this is a miracle product and its incredibly cheap!!!!!!!
squeeze them they'll be a bit red the first 5-10 hours and then wash your face 3times each day with something like clean and clear.
I don't know what you're using but I use Pro-Activ. I know I sound like the infomercial, but I can tell you that it WORKS! Put that mask on the red bump at night, and wake up with no pimple and no red bump. It really does work like they say.

Try gently exfoliating the area with the bumps once a day. Apply your acne cream BEFORE your moisturizer and let it sink in before applying your moisturizer.
hav u tried clearisil? if it duznt work then if u can, go to the doctors and u can get a pescription of antibiotics. they work well coz i used them.
