How to get rid of Baby acne?

My son is 5 weeks old, and for the last 3 weeks he's had a bad case of baby acne. When he's fussy i notice it gets worse. Sometimes they are big and look like white heads, some are just bumps under his skin. He has them on his cheeks and chin, not on his forehead. Everyone says to just leave it alone, but it looks horrible! How to get rid of Baby acne?
This actually sounds like Eczema, not baby acne. You should probably consult your Pediatrician to check the severity of it. Even if it is acne, either way, you should probably call your doctor.

We thought the same thing with our daughter, we thought it was just ';baby rash';, but our Pediatrician told us it was Eczema. Just to be safe, you should probably call. :)How to get rid of Baby acne?
I know... it looks terrible, so you want to get rid of it... but it's true: just leave it alone! It doesn't bother your son at all, so it's only cosmetic. Your baby's skin is so sensitive right now... you don't want to put anything on it that is unnecessary. Also, picking at the acne will only hurt the baby, and possibly cause infection and scarring, so don't do that either! It WILL go away on it's own! Just give it some more time!
You have GOT to leave it alone! Yes, it's ugly... acne is not known for being pretty! My 5 week old son has it too, and it is disgusting. But if you try popping them, it can scar. If you try putting medicine on it, you could really hurt him and make it a lot worse. It Will go away, just wash it every day at bath time and other than that, leave it alone.
oh sweetie that will go away on its own, yes i know it is annoying to see that you cant really do anything for your son...but it will go away...unless he might be allergic to your laundry detergent..in that case just switch detergents
Everybody is right...leave it alone! They will go away. If you try to do anything you could cause scaring and his skin is WAY to sensitive to put anything on it.
My baby had the same thing...just leave it alone and it will go away...as temping as it is...Don't pop them!! It could leave a life long scar!!
That happens. It'll go away on its own, but if it bothers you just apply lotion to those areas and he'll be just fine :o)
there's no way u can get rid of it it will go away by itself
